These are my three-leggers, Hope (top) and Archie (bottom). Hope is two and came to live with me after a year of abuse. As a result of the abuse she lost her left front leg, is shy, particularly of men, but has come a long, long way. She went to school and got her canine good citizenship and also recently walked 2 miles in the local SPCA dog walk. She is the funniest dog I have ever had and I am so lucky she rescued me.
Archie is my soul-man-he is about 11 or 12 and was found in a dumpster with his siblings. Luckily they all found homes, except Archie who was fostered and then adopted by my mom. When she became ill, he came to live with me and has remained a faithful and loyal friend. He lost his back leg to cancer 3 years ago, but does quite well. He is calm, good-natured and the best dog I have ever owned. He has his CGC as well and we are a certified therapy team
I say they rescued me, because they teach me new things every day-how to laugh at silly things, patience, unconditional love and forgiveness, mostly. I love them both with all my heart.
